You're right, of course. I got hung up on the Knights coming from Cormyr or the Dalelands that I completely skipped Mourngrym's history and where he came from. Thanks for the heads up, just made the change. I hope you've also been enjoying my other conversions.

On another similar note, I seem to have counted Dove's CR as the total of her levels without taking into account that she is also a Chosen of Mystra. I know I've read somewhere what the CR adjustment for having the template but I just can't remember. If anyone would be so kind to post the CR adjustment or where it is located I would be very thankful.

Wow, this thread is great! I haven't looked through it all but I didn't notice Laeral or any of the Neverwinter Nights NPCs such as Aribeth, Aarin Gend, or Nasher Alagondar on the openning list. I would be very happy if someone would do any of them.

Nice job on Dove, Sylune, and Laeral. I like how you remembered their unique abilities, i.e. Sylune's ability to turn into a dragon, and Laeral's odd magic-item touch. :D

Nontheless I still must take the opportunity to say I didnt like the levels that were officially given to Laeral, specifically since she served as an apprentice to Elminster and thus there was little reason for her to have 4 Sorcerer levels, since unlike many of her sisters she didnt have to resort to learning magic inuitively and on-her own llike her other sisters (i.e. the Simbul could not be trained as a Wizard in Rashemen since she was not an Ethran, Dove and Storm adventured off on their own at a young age and didnt immedtiately take too well to the Art, and Alustriel and Sylune were raised by a Harper who wanted them to become Rangers/Warrior-type Harpers, not mages).

Nevertheless you did do quite a good job with her, especially considering the level/class blocks that you had to work with.

@ Magus, if Escanor Thantul is a character from the Return of the Archwizards novels, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to do him justice since I haven't read the novels. The only info I have is what i gleaned from the now defunct Realms novels board and what was summarized in the PGtF.


And now for the news....


It's been a fun ride with posting the stats to these characters but now comes that dreaded word....EDIT. :eek: With the release of the PGtF I'm going to have to go back and look through every character that I've posted and make any corrections. Most of it is going to be a chore since it will only involve changing the name of any regional feat the NPC has and making the adjustments to the new capabilities that regional feat adds. Others will involve changes to class levels such as Ioulaum and Lady Polaris who will gain the Netherese Arcanist PrC. I hope you will bear with me until I've made the changes. Of course this is the perfect opportunity to those of you who have been following this thread to post any suggestions to make any changes on your favorite NPC (give valid reasons why need for a change) or give me notice on any bone-headed blunders I might have made.

If there are any changes made to the character, I will post the word edited next to their name on the table of contents found in page 1. Enjoy. :)

Just letting you know, Green Giant, that the Netherese Arcanist class really isn't appropriate for netherese casters, because it is using Epic Magic, which did not gain its present form until after the death of Mystryl. Just my opinion.

I have to disagree with you, Tebryn14. I believe that the Netherese Arcanist existed back then but was probably different in terms of abilities granted and the spell system of Arcane Age from the epic spellcasting system of today. However with the new system (both epic spellcasting and 3.5e), changes had to be made to adapt to the new Weave. It would be difficult to create a Netherese Arcanist PrC that simulated the magic system from Arcane Age so I had to use the one in PGtF, especially for Lady Polaris since she is the only one that didn't survive the death of Mystryl. Ioulaum and Shadow would have had time to learn the new Weave and make changes to the PrC.


I do agree with your sig, however. I think there should be less human-oriented dieties or at least change some of their portfolios since some of them are too closely related.

Wow! I've been away for a few days, but I just looked at Laeral with Sylune as an added bonus and this is just what I was looking for! Laeral's always been one of my favorite of the seven and I hope WotC gives her more mention in the Waterdeep book due out next year than they have in recent products. Awesome job GG. Could you do Nasher Alagondar next. His levels are listed in the FRCS in the Neverwinter section.

since this is about npc's maybe some of you can help me.
are there official level adjustments for pit fiends, balors and solars? if not, any suggestions?

i have a campaign advancing into epic levels and it was brought up if they could eventually make one of the above. i know it's at least 20 levels for fiends and balor hit dice alone. the level adjustment for abilities is the tricky part.

Could you or have you posted a list of what accessories you exactly use? Some of your prc's i have no clue about. If you could post a definitive list of what tomes you have been using i would be very appreciative.

Seems like alot of books and thats not even counting all my 2e sourcebooks that I have and other excellent items located in the WotC website. The main problem I have is all this information is spread out. Finding the correct one is maddening. I've had to create a list in which all the PrCs are located and where all the Cleric domains are located. I'm trying to find a list or index for all the 3e/3.5e magazines and another list in where all the feats can be located. Until then I'll just have to keep on suffering.

I usually post an asterik in case anybody wishes to know where I got the info. If you have any more questions about where I got the information please ask and I'll try to answer you.
